These are a few of my Favorite Things!

Joining the party over at Laurie's place today!

The cart escalator at the Super Target. The ST isn't two story, but it's attached to a parking garage that is - because it's downtown and well, they built a lot of other stores there, plus some condos. They also have an elevator and regular stairs, but who wants to deal with that with a cart full of crap really cool stuff from Target?
My Puccini print curvy tote from Vera Bradly. Actually  anything in Puccini. It's brown for starters. I am a big fan of brown. And it also has pink. And a nice spring green. And anything that is sort of swirly falls under "paisley" according to my dear redneck genius husband. I do love paisley...and while this is obviously NOT paisley, I love it anyway.

Old barns. Even better when it's got a quilt square on it. This one is somewhere between Sevierville and Knoxville TN. I snapped this as we were passing by on our way to dinner at Ye Olde Steakhouse in Knoxville. Best steak ever. You can add it to a list of my favorite things too. They bring crocks of port wine cheese to the table and big baskets of all kinds of crackers and crisp bread sticks. Mmmm...and they make some fantastic homemade desserts. Cakes that rival Pete's Bubble Room.
This sight. The one from the heated passenger seat of the F350 as we're pulling in at the cabin. Yep - there you go - a peek at the outside of the cabin. I think this shot was taken last October when we first moved in (guessing based on the trailer sitting there on the left and the fact that it looks wet - because it rained like crazy on the trip up there).
And my last two favorite things for today (because I have a TON of stuff to do around the house - remember, i'm the procrastinator and I have like 40 people coming to my house next weekend) My husband and my mom!  There's a bonus peek inside the cabin - this is the living area. Keep in mind that this was taken last October, FOUR days after we first set foot in it after closing. It was in foreclosure, 90% of what is in there was hauled from Florida in the rain uphill...both ways...and hubby and I were there just 3 days before my mom and her two sisters showed up. Suffice it to say that it was NOT move in ready and that we slept on an air mattress and folding twin size bed the first 2 nights. It actually looked like we lived there (aside from no appliances - other than the dishwasher) when they rolled in. We cleaned it top to bottom, floor to ceiling...very high ceilings, on our hands and knees and on 18' ladders with lots and lots of Murphy's Oil Soap. Totally worth it of course. You'll see in future posts!

Your cabin is darling! My cabin is much more rustic, but we love it too. Its great to have a little home away from home, isn't it?

Love that old barn too. You see such interesting things.

You earn bonus points for listing favorite people, at lease with them, I hope.
That cabin is "to die for." I am impressed for only a few days. Even decorations hung!
Loved your uphill both ways comment.
And who doesn't love old barns?
