Welcome to my 'hood...

Here are several of the other cabins near ours in the hills of East Tennessee...

Some have a red metal roof...

Some have a green metal roof...
Some are really close together in a little cul-de-sac and they have lawns...
Some have lots of steps...

Some are on flat ground but still in wooded areas...

Some are A Frame (and for sale) ...
Some are hanging off the side of the mountain (like ours)...

Some have stained glass windows (usually the subject of the window goes with the name of the cabin)...
Some are only one story (this one looks like it's on flat ground, but it's actually hanging off the side of the mountain as well)...
And just for fun...here's Mr. Paisley taking my grandfather's scooter for a spin...you can laugh, I do!
Every home is different - some are true log cabins, some have faux log siding, some are wood...there are metal roofs, shingle roofs, and slate roofs. Some people have grass, some have rocks. Some have concrete driveways, others have gravel, some just have asphalt paved right off the roadway. Everyone has a fireplace and at least one deck. There are mountain views, valley views and well...no views (except of the cabin next door for those folks in that odd little cul-de-sac). We love it...one of these days i'll get better pictures and all the cabin names (those are always fun)...

Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
