Today was a bit…odd. I woke up starving – not surprised after the epic dinner fail last night. The hubs took the day off to work on the roof next door. I packed most of my lunch (I forgot my sweet potato on the kitchen counter – already cooked) as well as breakfast. Got to work on time for a change and promptly ate all of it. ALL.OF.IT.
I guess on the plus side, I worked through lunch because I wasn’t hungry. Around 4:30 I did eat a Larabar.
I watched The Martian. What a great movie! I wanted to see it in the theatre, but never got around to it.
So to recap:
Breakfast: ground beef and potatoes topped with three fried eggs, a coconut cream pie Larabar, a fruit cup, and a bowl of chicken salad with apples, grapes and almonds.
Late Afternoon Snack: coconut cream pie Larabar (yeah - these are only supposed to be "emergency" use for Whole30)
Dinner: blackened Mahi Mahi topped with sliced avocado with sauteed green beans and sugar snap peas on the side.
Water...lots of water.
Are we done yet? I'm not really struggling to keep myself from cheating or anything, but DAMN I just want to go out to dinner and not have to do the dishes. I'm talking two full dishwasher loads per day, plus the anodized aluminum pots and pans that can't go in the dishwasher. Make it stop!
